LIDL headquarters

The new headquarters of the discounter chain LIDL are currently under construction in the spa town of Bad Wimpfen, Germany. At present, LIDL operates over 10,000 supermarkets in 28 countries all over the world.

In Bad Wimpfen, five separate buildings that will house approximately 1,500 staff are scheduled to be completed by 2020. The buildings, with a gross floor space of around 130,000 square metres, are situated on a building plot that measures 40,000 square metres. Particularly impressive are the different building styles and the terraced design of all buildings. Other highlights of the new headquarters include living roofs and subterranean pathways between the buildings.

SiteLog provides services in many areas of the construction of the new headquarters. These include ensuring the security of the construction site through access control, construction site safety, vehicle management with an in-house developed online notification system (SLOT Manager), the waste management logistics, as well as the construction site power and water supplies.
